Terms of Service

The Orléans Val de Loire Tourisme shop is the property of the Orléans Métropole Tourist Office - Orléans Val de Loire Tourisme, 23 place du Martroi – CS 95632 45056 Orléans cedex. Orléans Val de Loire Tourisme is a Local Public Company (SPL SIREN: 819 958 646 / SIRET: 819 958 646 000 21 / APE Code: 7990Z).

Certain elements of this site (photos and texts) are the exclusive property of Orléans Val de Loire Tourisme.

These elements are protected by French law and international laws for the protection of intellectual property. Any use, including the reproduction, even partial, modification, distribution, transmission, display of the content or of one of the elements of this site, on any medium whatsoever (electronic, paper or any other medium), is strictly prohibited without written agreement.

Anyone violating this protection will be prosecuted.

The purpose of these general conditions of use is to inform any potential consumer, natural or legal person, of the terms and conditions under which the Orléans Val de Loire Tourisme shop sells and delivers the products ordered. These general conditions of use also define the rights and obligations of the parties in connection with the sale of products by the seller to the consumer.

They apply, without restriction or reservation, to all sales by the seller of products offered on its website: www.orleansmetropole-boutique.com

Article 1: Application of the general conditions of use

By validating his order, the customer declares and recognizes, consequently, to have read, understood and accepted without reserve the present conditions of use.

Article 2: Order taking and means of payment

The customer chooses among the products offered for sale the one or those he wishes to buy by clicking on the buttons "Add to basket" or equivalent. The photos on the site are only presentation suggestions, and in no way constitute an exact representation of the products that will be delivered.

The order is subject to a summary of the products chosen. The customer can then confirm his order by clicking on the buttons “Proceed to payment ” then will have to fill in his information, proceed to the payment by credit card and will visualize an order verification before finalizing it.

By placing an order, the Consumer acknowledges having read and accepted without reservation, the special conditions of sale specific to each of the products covered by the order (name, price, components, weight, quantity, particularities of the products). If he considers that he does not have enough information concerning the product(s) he wishes to order, he can contact the Orléans Val de Loire Tourisme shop by telephone at 02.38.24.05.05 or by email at the address shop @tourisme-orleans.com for additional information.

The information (concerning him) communicated by the buyer when taking the order commits him: in the event of an error in the wording of the recipient's contact details, the seller cannot be held responsible for the impossibility of delivering the product. .

Payment for purchases is made by credit card using a secure online payment method (Visa, MasterCard, other Carte Bleue).

Payment of the full price must be made when ordering by the Buyer. At no time can the sums paid be considered as a deposit or down payment. The collection of the entire amount of the order will be made by the seller at the time of validation of the order.

The weight of each product is indicated in order to provide the customer with an estimate of the shipping costs for his package. In the event of a discrepancy between the amount of shipping costs paid by the customer and the actual shipping costs, the difference will not be charged to the customer.

In the event of a stock shortage (problem with supply, etc.) on a product ordered, the Orléans Val de Loire Tourisme shop will inform the customer by email or telephone when preparing their order. In the event that products of identical categories and prices are available, one or more substitute products will be offered.

If no product can replace the missing product(s), or if the customer does not want the proposed substitute product(s), a refund will be made by bank transfer.

The Order is processed by the Orléans Val de Loire Tourisme team during the 10 working days following the date of validation and payment of the order.

Article 3: Click and Collect

Parcels are collected at the point of sale of the products located at 23 Place du Martroi, 45 000 Orléans during the opening hours of the Orléans Métropole Tourist Office. The buyer will be notified by the seller as soon as his order is ready (by email).

In case of force majeure, if the package could not be prepared, the sale may then be canceled and the purchaser obtain restitution of his payment to the exclusion of any other compensation or damages.

The following are considered as cases of force majeure releasing the seller from his obligation to deliver: war, riots, fire, strikes, accidents, the impossibility of being supplied or delivering, epidemic or other cases causing the closure of the premises of the Office of Tourism.

The seller will keep the buyer informed in a timely manner of the cases or events listed above.
In any case, collection can only take place if the buyer is up to date with his obligations to the seller.

After collection, any modification or termination of the order by the buyer cannot be taken into consideration and the price paid cannot be refunded.

Article 4: Withdrawal

In accordance with the provisions of Article L. 121-21 of the Consumer Code, you have a period of 14 clear days from the date of receipt of the products ordered to exercise your right of withdrawal, by mail to the following address: Orléans Val de Loire Tourisme, 23 place du Martroi – CS 95632 45056 Orléans cedex, or by email (boutique@tourisme-orleans.com).
In execution of this right, you may return the products ordered, the costs of returning these products being at your expense. The products subject to the right of withdrawal will only be taken back if they are returned in their original packaging and in perfect condition for resale. Any product that has been damaged or partially consumed can in no way benefit from the right of withdrawal provided for in this article.

In the event of exercise of the right of withdrawal, Orléans Val de Loire Tourisme undertakes to reimburse you as soon as possible, at the latest within 14 working days following the date on which you exercised your right of withdrawal, the said current period from the date of receipt of the products subject to the right of withdrawal.

Article 5: Price

The unit prices are indicated in euros and include VAT. Payment is made when ordering (on www.orleansmetropole-boutique.com by bank card).
At no time can the sums paid be considered as a deposit or down payment.

Article 6: Protection of minors

In accordance with the provisions of article L. 3342-1 of the Public Health Code, the sale of alcohol to minors under the age of eighteen is prohibited. Any person ordering on the site therefore undertakes to be of legal age.

Article 7: Disputes

Complaints or disputes will always be received with attentive benevolence, good faith being always presumed in those who take the trouble to explain their situations.

These general conditions of use are subject to French law.

Computing and Freedom
